Gurman confirms two iPads, but not for tomorrow

In its usual weekly newsletterPower On,the journalist ofBloombergMark Gurman revealed his latest predictions about the Apple Watch Series 7 and AirPods 3. But that's not all, since we also find information about iPads. According to the author, a ninth generation of the classic model would be in the works as already mentioned a little earlier.

According to the most recent information about this device, it should feature a new design resembling that of its high-end cousins such asiPad Air 2020. It is generally believed that the device will also perform better than before, perhaps with an A13 processor. Besides, we know very little about it but the size of the screen should stagnate at 10.2 inches and the format will be slimmed down.

New iPad mini

The sixth iPad mini, on the other hand, would indeed be entitled to an enlarged display:8.3 inches compared to 7.9 previously. Gurman therefore assumes that the width of the borders will be reduced, which makes sense, especially since the appearance of the tablet would also match those of the iPad Pros on sale at the moment. For the American, it would then be “biggest change” since the launch of the iPad mini almost ten years earlier.

The price, however, remains unknown at the moment. For comparison, the current iPad mini is sold for 459 euros for the version with 64 GB of storage in France. A price which rises to 629 euros for 256 GB of memory. The versions with modem included, for their part, require adding 140 euros to these amounts. As for engraving (optional), it is free, but AppleCare+ insurance is billed at 79 euros.

Two keynotes… or more?

Finally, Gurman has just published an additional clue on his Twitter account. We can read that the Los Angeles editor thinks that Apple will organize not just one but two conferences to launch its next products. With the latest for iPads and Macs.

This is not the first time that a rumor of this ilk has reached us:already last month, the Taiwanese fromDigiTimesassured for their part that Cupertino was even preparing up to three events.

There will be two events, and I’d expect the latter to be Mac + iPad. iPhone/Watch Tuesday.https://t.co/xfAjhUkigC
