The HomePod speaker will be able to synchronize with an iPhone by emitting a specific sound

In December, Apple should launch its speaker
connected, HomePod, in the United States initially and next year
in Europe and the rest of the world. This would connect to the devices
Apple thanks to a unique and automatic process.

This is indeed what developer Guilherme Rambo has just found in
the latest beta of iOS 11, namely that the HomePodwould make a sound
automatically recognized by iPhone
for easy pairing.

The latest iOS 11 beta has a screenshot showing a
new pairing method used by the HomePod, where the latter
emits a specific sound that is recognized by an iPhonehas
proximity.

In the event of a pairing failure via this automatic method, we note that
the user has the possibility tomanually enter a code
on the iPhone which will be given vocally by the HomePod's Siri.

We imagine that the pairing will work transparently and
automated with all Apple devices using the same iCloud ID,
as is the case for AirPods.

This new HomePod pairing method is very similar to that of
the Apple Watch, but in an audio version. Indeed, the Apple watch displays a
cloud of moving particles that is recognized by the iPhone camera.

Perhaps the Cupertino company will reveal some details
additional information on the HomePod next week during its keynote, otherwise
we will have to wait until the Americans leave the enclosure in December.
