Asour list of Apple Pay compatible bankshas long indicated, Apple Pay compatibility at ING was to be implemented in 2020. It was the bank itself which announced this at the start of the year. It will have waited until December to finally support Apple's contactless payment service.
Indeed, as our colleagues from iGeneration have indicated, with a screenshot of one of their readers, ING bank cards can for several hours now be configured in Wallet on iPhone, to be used payment method with Apple Pay.
This is big news, because it is another step towards total coverage by Apple Pay for French banks. To date, there are only a few diehard Gaulish (banks) remaining who are resisting the Californian, including Kard, but also BforBank and Qonto.
