iPad Pro 2020: the triple photo sensor becomes clearer

According to the latest reliable rumors on the subject, Apple could unveil new iPad Pros in March 2020, which would take the design of the iPad Pro 2018. The next models would also have the same dimensions, but there is one element that will quite a change.

Indeed, according to several reports on the iPad Pro 2020, Apple should integrate a triple photo sensor on the back of the next generation of iPad Pro. It would be a photo module identical to that of the iPhone 11 Pro, with a wide-angle lens, a telephoto lens and an ultra-wide-angle lens.

A reliable source on Twitter, Onleaks, a regular at leaking upcoming Apple products with a good track record, has just published several render images of the next iPad Pro. He published a faithful rendering of the iPhone 11 Pro in January 2019.

The Onleaks images were published on the Geeksblog site, the latter shares some additional information on the next iPad Pros, including the dimensions of the next 11-inch iPad Pro, 248 x 178.6 x 5.9 mm. Dimensions identical to the current model.

On the other hand, the 3D sensor, which has been mentioned several times in recent months, is not present in the rendered images. Maybe Onleaks didn't have any information on this.

Quite curiously, the Geeksblog site mentions a metal back for the next 11-inch iPad Pro and a glass back for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. It seems unlikely to have a different material for the two models, so this information should be taken with a grain of salt.

The only reason to have a glass back would be for wireless charging, but that doesn't really make sense, and it's not practical on a tablet either. Additionally, recharging the battery of a 12.9-inch iPad Pro would take way too long.
