iOS 13: how to connect a PS4 or Xbox controller to an iPhone or iPad

Today we are going to show you howconnect a PS4 or Xbox One controllerto an iPhone or iPadsous iOS 13. This allows you to play many iOS games compatible with controllers.

Until now you had to use certified controllers to work with games, unfortunately there are not many controllers compatible with iOS games, and many are not great in terms of manufacturing quality and comfort of use .

But this is not the case for PS4 controllers,available here on Amazon, but alsoXbox One, here on Amazon, which are excellent controllers for gaming on iPhone or iPad. Playing with a physical controller remains much more pleasant and precise than touch controls.

  • Go to the Bluetooth settings on your iPhone or iPad running iOS 13, and make sure Bluetooth is activated.
  • Press the Share button and the Playstation button at the same time until a light flashes on the controller, indicating that it is in pairing mode.
  • The controller will normally appear in the list of Bluetooth devices on the iPhone or iPad, just tap the name “Dualshock 4 Wireless Controller” to connect the controller.

Connect an Xbox One controller

  • Go to the Bluetooth settings on your iPhone or iPad running iOS 13, and make sure Bluetooth is activated.
  • Turn on the controller by pressing the Xbox button, then to enter pairing mode, you must press the Connect button for 3 three seconds.
  • The controller normally appears in the list of Bluetooth devices on the iPhone or iPad, simply press the name to connect the controller.
