NameDrop
To begin with, you should know that AirPods has a brand new asset: NameDrop. This feature allows you to share your contact details in a few seconds, from your iPhone to that of another user. Apple Watches are also compatible, provided they have been updated to watchOS 10.
With NameDrop, it is possible to choose to share only certain data and not others, such as email or even the telephone number. The pictureContact posteris also sent in this way. It's up to you to personalize it so that it suits you; it can be a profile photo or a Memoji.

Safari for the whole family
With this, the proprietary Safari browser is also updated with iOS 17. From now on, you can create “profiles” there. Please note: these are not user sessions, like on Mac.

Transcription of voice messages
Amongall the new features of iOS 17, we also find the transcription of voice messages into textual content. So, if someone calls you but you don't pick up, they can leave you their contact details or ask you to contact them again. But when you're in a public space, it can be difficult to listen to the note. In this case, the written version is then welcome.
Be careful, however: this functionality is not yet available in France. Additionally, it is unclear when this will be the case. On the other hand, if you change the country of your Apple account and you choose the United States or Canada, then you will be entitled to this new feature of iOS 17. But the French App Store will no longer be accessible: this is it's up to you.

Except that here, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 are also compatible. The modeStandbyactivates when you position the iPhone horizontally while charging. Track your emotional states with Health
Now also available on iPads, the Health app now asks you how you feel. And this, regularly. A register then takes into account your different responses and allows you to follow their evolution over the week.

Please note, this new feature is currently unavailable in France. It should arrive with us soon, however, we hope, in the coming weeks!
In the same way as the Google Assistant on Android or Wear OS, Siri can be called by voice on iPhone. But with iOS 17, we no longer call it the same way. Now just say “Siri” to wake him up. “Dis, Siri” still continues to trigger the same action, for latecomers.
