The new iPhone SE 2 would arrive in March

This is what anew report from Bloombergpublished a few hours ago. According to the latter, the next entry-level iPhone, expected for several months now, should indeed arrive before spring.

Various Apple subcontractors should begin assembling the device in February. We recall that the latter should take the design of the iPhone 8, with some of its characteristics, such as Touch ID, a 4.7-inch LCD screen and a single-camera rear camera.

But inside, we would find components worthy of recent models, including 3 GB of RAM (as on the 2018 iPhone XR) and an A13 processor chip, the one fitted to the 2019 iPhone 11 and 11 Pro.

Its format would therefore not be the same as the iPhone SE 2, which is also why some analysts, on the basis of more or less certain rumors, would count on the fact that Apple would name itiPhone 9and not iPhone SE 2. It would in fact no longer have too much in common with the 4-inch model released in 2016, which had met with some success among small hands and other fans of small smartphones.

But the new iPhone would join the iPhone SE in price positioning. According to the latest information, it could sell, in basic storage capacity, possibly 64 GB, for around 400 to 500 euros. A 128 GB version could be offered for a hundred euros more.

Ming-Chi Kuo had already bet a few weeks ago on arelease of this iPhone SE 2 in the first half of 2020. According to new information from Bloomberg, this release window could well be confirmed.
