Rumors surrounding the iPhone SE 4 have been gaining momentum for several months. While the release of this new value for money smartphone is still scheduled for spring 2025, new leaks confirm certain information.
It's Sonny Dickson, a leaker known in the community of Apple experts, who has just shared new visuals around the iPhone SE 4. These images, showing protective cases, allow us to know a little more on the aesthetics of the iPhone SE 4.
As expected, the phone will adopt Face ID. If the new buttons of the iPhone 16 are obviously not there, the biggest change on this iPhone SE 4 should be on the screen side. When the iPhone SE 3 was released in 2022, this 5.45-inch LCD panel had already been criticized. Today it is completely anachronistic.
Screen, camera, battery
Instead, Apple reportedly plans to build the iPhone SE 4 based on an iPhone 14. The smartphone would feature a 6.1-inch OLED display. On the top, Dynamic Island could house a 12 Mpx camera, like on the iPhone 15. At the back, Apple would instead focus on a single 48 Mpx sensor.
According to the latest information from Sonny Dickson, the camera cutout will be identical to that of the iPhone SE 3. There will therefore only be one lens on this smartphone.

It's difficult to sell an iPhone SE next spring without this feature. At the same time, the presence of Apple Intelligence leads to the integration of an A18 chip, the only one with enough power. Such a good processor in the iPhone SE 4 could have a huge impact on the final selling price of the smartphone.
