iWatch: two models, “luxury” version and other details…

Certainly, the
information and rumors around the future connected watchiWatchare going well this week. After the possible
arrival of a
UV exposure sensor
and thedelivery
first electronic circuits
, it is the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who
shows very verbose on the subject.

While communicating itsideas around an ending
busy year for Apple
, the analyst goes into more detail about what he
qualifies as the biggest novelty of the year for Apple, theiWatch, which would beavailable in two models and
different finishes
:

L’iWatchcould therefore become a fairly
complete and not a single model. The analyst says he is convinced that
two Amoled screen diagonals would be offered withmodels of
1.3 inches and 1.5 inches
. Each of these screens would be protected by
andSynthetic Sapphire crystal glass while being curved
in order to better adapt to the user's wrist. L'iWatchwould also be the first Apple product to integrate the
Liquidmetal, especially for mechanical parts.

In addition to the screen, Apple could offerseveral finishes with
more or less expensive materials for the case and bracelet
, se
placing it in competition with luxury watch manufacturers. Thus, the
high-end model could be sold for several hundred
dollars’.

Autonomy being an important factor for the future of the iWatch, a
250 mAH battery capable of lasting more than a full day would be
expected, even if Apple aims to hold 3 to 4 days. In parallel,
in order to optimize the duration of use, antennas would be integrated to
allow awireless charging.

The future connected watch will be able to operate autonomously but it
will reach its full capabilities when connected with the iPhone or iPad. We
indeed expects numerous sensors which will work in conjunction with
the health applicationHealthbookbut also, and
the analyst is surprised on this specific point, the integration of an NFC chip.

Finally, Ming-Chi Kuo even puts forward sales figures with estimates
of the order of 5.5 million units sold for 2014 and 30 to 50 million
pour 2015.

A hell of a end to the year ahead!
