New images of the AirPower wireless charger have been published on X, Elon Musk's social network. We discover a black prototype there, while the device in question should have been white for the general public. We know this because Apple, the manufacturer, presented it with great fanfare during a keynote. Unfortunately, development concerns and overheating issues will have nipped the project in the bud, in all likelihood.
Instead, Apple now offers thechargeur double MagSafe. A little nugget, but which still costs a trifle of no less than around 150 euros. Except that the product is no longer available on the official Apple Store website. This could be explained quite simply. In fact, for several years, the manufacturer has been updating its range of products in order to offer more and more equipped with the universal USB-C charging standard. A compatible MagSafe dual charger could therefore soon see the light of day.

What an AirPower could recharge
According to tests carried out by our source of the day, the AirPower wireless charger is capable of powering not only a high-end iPhone, but also AirPods. Apple's wireless headphones are the best-selling in the world, but they're not the only accessories eligible for power with the prototype.
In fact, the AirPower wireless charger can also power aApple Watch. Cupertino's connected watches are capable of measuring many very useful health metrics, such as the level of oxygen in the blood which has also earned ita trial. In addition, these wearables can also track the heart rate or menstrual cycle of young women.
Andrevivalin the loop?
To go further, we must also mention the case of arebootpotential of the AirPower charger. This assumption comes straight frompatentsspotted after the USPTO, where we see that very recently, Applewould workstill developing a home wireless charging mat.
Be careful, however: this does not mean that commercialization is close, far from it. Indeed, Tim Cook's company regularly files documents of this type in order to protect its intellectual property, but without planning any in-store release at a close date.
