At the end of January, the DigiTimes newspaper stated
that the Cupertino company was working on anouveau
Entry-level 13-inch MacBook, the launch of which would be scheduled for
second half of this year. And following new information, the arrival
of this model is confirmed.
Indeed, one of the most reliable analysts in the Apple universe, Ming-Chi Kuo
from the firm KGI, has just published a new report citing sources close to
production chains in Asia. The paper corroborates DigiTimes' claims,
namely that Apple would launch anew MacBook Airwith a
relatively low pricefor the2nd quarterof
This year.
According to Ming-Chi Kuo, this new MacBook Air should see the light of day
of the second quarter of 2018 and would be offered to aprice enough
aggressive. He believes that this should help boost sales
MacBook10-15 %This year.
Currently, Apple sells a 13-inch MacBook Air which starts at 1099 euros
whose last update dates from 2015, a 12-inch MacBook at 1499 euros and
a 13-inch MacBook Pro at 1499 euros.
We imagine that this new MacBook Air should integrate new
more efficient components and new port-based connections
Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C).
The Touch Bar will probably remain one of the features of the MacBook
Pro for a while, so this new MacBook Air might not stay one
than traditional function keys.
