This should probably be one of the highlights of this year for Apple. The Cupertino company is in fact preparing to launch a third version of itsiPhone SE, its smartphone at the most affordable price.
As we are accustomed to, the Cupertino company is not very talkative on the subject, but some experts in the company's supply chain nevertheless manage to glean some information.
Predictions that match those of other Apple experts
This is precisely the case for Ross Young, a well-known analyst for the Apple brand, who has just spoken out on Twitter. He explains that production of the new smartphone should start during the month of January for screens, and in March for all devices.

According to him, the launch could therefore take place over a period ranging from April to early May, with delivery of the devices a few weeks later. Ultimately, his predictions confirm those of other Apple specialists. Thus, Ming-Chi Kuo is also counting on an exit during the first half of the year.
As a reminder, the iPhone SE would have 5G connectivity, which should convince part of the public to make the transition. We also expect it to take the design of the iPhone XR, but other experts are instead counting on a model close to the iPhone 11.
Regardless, many agree that it will include relatively few changes compared to its predecessor. More in-depth changes will be made in a later version which should be released within one to two years.
