It's a date always closely scrutinized by Apple fans. Thanks to Mark Gurman's latest newsletter onBloomberg, we know a little more about when the next Keynote will be held. The specialist from the Cupertino company explains:
Apple is gearing up for its first virtual event of 2022. Apple's first virtual event of 2022 is just a few months away and is expected to take place in March or April, from what I've been told. What should we expect? Probably a new iPhone SE, at least. It was at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, in April 2020, that Apple presented the current iPhone SE.
A virtual edition for WWDC 2022?
The analyst also believes, like Ming-Chi Kuo, that this SE 3 model will look a lot like the old iPhone SE. However, it will stand out thanks to its 5G connectivity and a few other improvements.
As for the second event of the year, Mark Gurman is logically betting that it will coincide with the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June. Like every year, the Apple brand will have the opportunity to unveil its different operating systems. This is the case for iOS 16 (Sydney), tvOS 16 (Paris), macOS 13 (Rome) and watchOS 9 (Kincaid).
Finally, while one might have hoped that the June event would take place in person for the first time since the pandemic began, that is not expected to be the case. We can therefore expect, as for the 2020 and 2021 editions, a virtual meeting.
