App Store for visionOS much better thanks to a third-party developer

If you receivedl’Apple Vision Pro, you may have noticed that its App Store does not display correctly when viewed from a very classic browser. The screenshots requested from editors are therefore not available on Safari or on its Mountain View competitor, Google Chrome. A developer therefore decided to imagine an alternative, I namedApps for Apple Vision Pro.

Also accessible on Mozilla Firefox as on Opera, this website, as its name suggests, references the dozens of apps already available for visionOS. This operating system, as we recall, is precisely the one that equips Apple's new mixed reality headset: the Vision Pro. To get it, you must have an address in the United States, the equivalent of $3,499or more, and time (pre-orders now require waiting several months before receipt). Several native platforms for Macs and iPhones are also included in the new version, such as Messages or Mail.

The Apps for Apple Vision Pro site has decided to classify the applications for the headset of the same name using nearly twenty different categories. It includes travel, weather and even tools dedicated to developers and browser extensions.Safari. Among these, we can notably cite the case of Bolt: it is aad blocker(no, nothing to do with demonic scooters, a priori). As for 1Blocker, it is an alternative, also present on the Mac App Store.

We haven't been able to find out if all of the more than two hundred apps in the App Store for visionOS are listed on this new online library, but it's unlikely. Developers can, however, decide tosubmittheir own creations. To do this, simply fill out a short form, which asks in particular to provide a description and an icon to properly recognize the app.
