The Apple Vision Pro suffers from significant cracks

Several testimonials collected from Vision Pro users show thatthe front window of the helmet is cracked, approximately at the level of the nose. Unfortunately, we don't know much more at the moment. Victims of this problem can only be advised to go to an Apple Store, where the technicians working at the Genius Bar will be able to provide the best advice to follow in the face of the problem.

Among the solutions that may be proposed in this scenario, there is no doubt that we may be able to replace the front glass of the Apple Vision Pro. Except that this operation has a cost, and not the least: count on $799 across the Atlantic, if you have not previously subscribed to the corresponding AppleCare+ insurance. Or the equivalent of739 eurosapproximately, at the exchange rate in effect at the time of writing these lines.

The price charged for the protection in question is set at $499 for two years of protection against screen breakage, or around 500 euros. You can also opt for a monthly package, which then costs around 25 euros per month.

Prices remain unknown for France

We do not yet know the cost of repairs to theVision Proin Apple Store for France. And for good reason: Cupertino's mixed reality headset does not even have a release date for the European continent to date. However, rumors suggest that a precise deployment schedule could be revealed by the manufacturer before the Worldwide Developer Conference. However, this is scheduled for June. In addition, we know that announcements are generally planned by the Apple firm between the end of March and the beginning of May.

Our estimates

Costing $3,499 excluding tax in the United States (or more than 3,200 euros), the Apple Vision Pro could cost nearly 4,000 euros in mainland France. This is explained in particular by the presence of additional import costs.
