with new figures regarding the adoption rate of iOS and older
versions.iOS 10 is now present on 63% of machines
compatible, a difference of 7 points compared to iOS 9.
The old major version iOS 9 is still present on29% of
compatible Apple terminals. Finally, the remaining 8% are equipped with
an even older version of the system.
Apple's official figures differ from other figures from
third parties such as the analysis company Mixpanel whichshows 78% for
iOS 10and 16% for iOS 9.
However, the methodology for measuring the adoption rate is not the same,
Mixpanel measures OS and cross-web machines hour by hour,
while the Cupertino company counts the machines that connect to
l’App Store.
