It is a choice of Apple that did not go unnoticed. The Cupertino firm has decided to remove the aluminum finish in sidereal gray on its rangeMacBook Air M4, the latter is replaced by the sky blue. The MacBook Air M3 is therefore the last in the range to be provided.
Little by little, the sidereal gray disappears
Introduced twelve years ago on the iPhone, then on Mac in 2015 and on MacBook Air in 2018, the sidereal gray is an iconic finish on Apple products and it is very appreciated.
Little by little, however, the apple brand has abandoned this color, especially by replacing the sidereal gray of the MacBook Pro M4 range with sidereal black. The same goes for the HomePod and the Airpods Max where the latter has given way to midnight color. Finally, during the year 2024, the tech giant replaced the Ipad Pro M2 Aidrar gray with the iPad Pro M4 Aidel.
