Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at TF International Securities, is known to be very knowledgeable about Apple. Each note he publishes for investors is therefore closely scrutinized by the media and this is also the case for his latest text devoted to the next MacBook Air.

He thinks that the Apple brand will release its new range of laptops in mid-2022. It would have a 13.3-inch mini-LED screen and would therefore be the second Mac to benefit from this technology after the 2021 MacBook Pro due later this year.

New MacBook Airs equipped with M2 chips?

It should be noted here that this innovation is supposed to bring a real improvement in display quality with a thinner and lighter design, but also a wider range of colors, or even more realistic blacks.

Let us also remember that this is not the first time that the expert has mentioned this idea and he maintains his position over time. Ming-Chi Kuo is also optimistic about the shortage of components and as the situation should improve a little by the end of 2021, he expects Apple to ship between 20 and 22 million units of its new computer in 2022.

Note that many other rumors have reached us regarding this new MacBook Air.A switch to an M2 chipis thus envisaged according to the Apple specialist who operates under the pseudonym @Dylandkt. An opinion that he shares with Jon Prosser, the famous leaker of the apple brand.

We do not have any further information on this new chip except that we should not expect an immense power gain compared to the M1. However, it should include some interesting developments compared to the previous generation.
