Alto’s Odyssey
180 levels, 6 characters to unlock, each with their own abilities, and a modezen, this is the summary of what Alto's Odyssey offers, sequel to the famous Alto's Adventure. In a genre always toosuccessfulskiing down hills and mountains, no longer snow-covered, but sandy, the atmosphere is guaranteed to be veryrelaxing. A game that left its mark on us, with its touchsingle chart, but also by the sensations it provides.

Evoland 2
This is the sequel to one of the most popular iOS games in the App Store,Evoland,available here on the App Store. In Evoland 2, it's still about role-playing and adventure, with even better graphicsworkedand an atmosphere as striking as ever. Pocket City
Until then, the iPhone and iPad lacked a truly good city building simulation, like “Sim City” or “Cities: Skylines” on PC. And the surprise came this year from a small developer, who was inspired by the Sim City of the 90s and 2000s precisely for his mobile title, Pocket City. The latter uses basic mechanics of the genre, such as activity zones, commerce, housing, industries, while offering numerousspecifics: missions, special buildings to buy, etc. The whole thing isvery neat and very fun. A great success in short, in a genre thatfinally finds its reference.

Asphalt 9: Legends
On iPhone and iPad, when it comes to car racing games, it's hard not to miss the Asphalt game series. And in fact, this year episode 9 was released. PUBG Mobile
A benchmark of the genre on PC, its mobile port caused a stir when it was released, followed by the arrival of its biggest competitorFortnitepresented above. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds therefore puts the player in the shoes of a survivor parachuted onto an island of a few square kilometers in size, on which they must try to survive as long as possible. Weapons, armor, ammunition and other special objects must be collected to defeat your enemies. The game shines with its gameplay, a little more serious than Fortnite, and its top-level production, but the community seems to prefer the very dynamic rival Fortnite!

Super Hydorah
Old-school horizontal shooting and arcade action is what you can expect in Super Hydorah. The player's mission is clear: cross enemy-infested levels aboard his spaceship. Vandals
Another Arte co-production present in this top game of 2018, in which the Cosmografik studio also participated. In Vandals, the inspiration is clearly visible: the games from the GO series, including Hitman GO or Lara Croft GO but now adapted to the world of street art. Because in Vandals, the goal is turn-based, to escape police surveillance to paint walls that are increasingly difficult to access. Stylized nicknames, childish characters, poems, everyone can find their tag style and solve the 60 puzzles offered in this refreshing, original and high-quality game.

Fidel Dungeon Rescue
This is a very unique strategy and rogue-like game. Having initially met with some success on PC, Findel Dungeon Rescue has won over on iPhone with a nice rating of 5 stars out of 5 on the App Store. But the game is unfortunately not as well known as it should be, being signed by a small independent studio. It certainly deserves the spotlight, because its production is very good and its gameplay is original. It involves making a dog progress through dungeons, square by square, eliminating numerous enemies and without getting caught in various traps. One of our favorites of 2018.

This is The Police
This is The Police is a game at the crossroads between anarrative game and a management game. He then alternates betweenmonologue and dialogue phases, featuring Freeburg Police Superintendent Jack Boyd andmanagement scenes during his last days in office. The latter will then be able to take different routes to finish his career and choose betweenthat of merciless corruption, or on the contrary,that of total honesty. This is The Police is a well-written, perfectly voiced and totally gripping game. It presents an original concept and top-level production. Frankly, in its genre, This is The Police is clearly a must.
