AirPods Pro 2: Apple has just updated them

The AirPods Pro 2 first appeared in stores on September 22, 2022, over a year ago. A few days after their release, users were already encountering quite restrictive problems. Some have been repeatedly confronted withan unexpected shutdown of the headphones, for no apparent reason. Especially since those who reported this bug made it clear that it happened while they were loaded, and next to the device.

Another problem was reported by buyers of the AirPods Pro 2 shortly after its release, but this one is restrictive. Despite the fact that they were connected to devices, such as an iPhone, iPad or other, they did not emit any sound. Apple obviously deployed a patch shortly after to resolve these issues. Since then, the Apple firm's wireless headphones have benefited from 8 updates. Including one very recently.

What's new ?

The upgrade that took place was, as usual, published by Apple on its site, butunlike the last one which was major, this one is not. On the internet page dedicated to these updates, it only says “Bug fixes and other improvements».

This lack of novelty can be disappointing, but it should be put into perspective with the previous update. As a reminder, the latter(6A300/6A301)included many additions, among them:

  • Adaptive audio
    • Allows you to adjust the volume of AirPods Pro 2 in real time depending on the sound environment around them
  • Control over calls
    • Allows you to mute and reactivate the microphone with a single press
  • Automatic switching between devices

Given that Apple has not given any information regarding its content, we can assume that the latest update served to perfect these features, as is very often the case when the firm implements new ones.
