Monster Hunter blends into reality with iPhone camera

Niantic has just partnered with Capcom studio to launchMonster Hunter Now, role-playing game from the eponymous franchise withaugmented realityon the program. Players must compete in ingenuity to fight giant monsters appearing in their environment, thanks to a superposition with it made possible by their smartphone's camera. The iPhone 14, the iPhone 14 Plus,the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Maxshould be compatible with the first version of the game, expected for September 2023.

It is also on this date that Apple's new high-end mobiles are expected, namelythe supposed iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. There is no doubt that these editions will also be eligible for the installation of the title, given that the technology on which it is based uses LiDAR, also expected on future premium cell phones from Cupertino.

The waiting list is open
