Steve Jobs died 12 years ago: tribute in 3 iconic Keynotes

Steve Jobs was 56 years old on October 5, 2011 when he passed away. The former CEO of Apple died following respiratory arrest caused by pancreatic cancer. Like every year, we take advantage of this day to pay tribute to the man who was one of the greatest figures in the history of tech.

Last year, we trace thenotable moments in the inventor's life. This time, let's find it in 3 Keynotes which have defined the evolution of Apple and even the world more generally.

1984: Steve Jobs introduces the Macintosh

On January 30, 1984, Apple presented the Macintosh in Boston. It is obviously Steve Jobs who is responsible for lifting the veil on the machine, on stage.Watch here on YouTube.

The 1984 Macintosh, full name Macintosh 128K, was launched for $2,495 in the United States. It's an all-top, with the components integrated behind a 9-inch diagonal screen.

2007: the first iPhone of the name

On January 9, 2007, Steve Jobs announced the iPhone. Besides, did you know that another Apple product was coming out at the same time? Do you know which one? The answer after the video.

It is indeed the Apple TV which was presented on the same day as the iPhone. It must be admitted that the Californian's multimedia box has just taken a bit of a back seat at the moment...

2008: Steve Jobs gives us Air

Another notable keynote was the announcement of the first MacBook Air released 15 years ago. We remember the paper envelope brought on stage by the big boss, which contained the laptop computer that was so thin and light for its time.

Be aware that YouTube is full of interviews and other speeches from Steve Jobs. It's always a real treat to see these presentations again in any case, especially when we think of our current days and recent Apple Events which can sometimes lack flavor with this format of pre-recorded and ultra-edited videos. -own…

What do you think? Do you miss the time when we saw Steve Jobs on stage in public presenting new Apple products?
