foreign and French unveil their new products for the new
year. The French company Netatmo took the opportunity to presenttwo
new HomeKit compatible products.
The first isa smoke detector, le Smart Smoke Alarm,
which warns the user in real time when it detects a possible start
fire. The second isan anti-intrusion alarm that works
concert with the Welcome camerafrom Netatmo.
The Smart Smoke Alarm communicatesBluetooth and Wi-Fi
with the iPhone to notify the user in real time in the event of danger
fire-related potential. Accounting with HomeKit (and IFTTT) allows
detector to launch preconfigured scenarios like automatic ignition
connected light bulbs.
In addition to sending an alert to the user's iPhone, the Smart Smoke
Alarm triggersan internal sirenwhich produces quite a sound
powerful, precisely 85 decibels.
Regularly, the detector also carries out its own diagnosis and
sends the results to the user to be sure it works
correctly. Concerning autonomy, according to Netatmo, the integrated battery
assurea lifespan of 10 years.
Netatmo also revealedan anti-intrusion alarm,
Indoor Security Siren, which works in conjunction with the connected camera
Welcome.
This alarm is triggered witha sound of 110 decibelsWhen
the camera detects an unknown face, and sends an alert to the iPhone
the user.
These two new products should be released this year for an even lower price
unknown.
At the same time, Netatmo has just launcheda new program "with
Netatmo"which ensures compatibility of its products with
devices from other brands such as Velux and Legrand. Among the first
accessories of this program, we can cite a centralized system to close
shutters at Velux, or even switches and electrical sockets from
Legrand.
