Apple TV: a more compact version with an A5X processor is on the horizon, but not yet! (update)

The more the days pass, the more the arrival
of a new version of Apple TV seems to be confirmed.

While yesterday,the new
little box's operating system gave us some clues,
Today it is the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) which tells us about
a trayplans for the next version.

Update: Apple has communicated that this is not an update
functional day and that neither the size nor the functions would be
affected.

Discovery:

For some reason, an upcoming version of the Apple TV
should beeven a little smaller(93.78mm versus 98mm
Today). The AnanTech site also discovered that this new version
should embarkan A5X processorand use the same
Wifi/Bluetooth antenna than that of the iPhone 5.

Here are the plans in question:

The use of this A5X chip, abandoned at the same time as the iPad 3,
might not be trivial for Apple. AnanTech sees thisa way to
relaunch production with a view to integration into a future iPad mini which
would then be equipped with a retina screen.

But it's not for now! The next update will not be
not functional according to Apple.
