Not long ago,a Bloomberg reportrevealed the various information that Mark Gurman was able to obtain on the new Apple products at the end of 2018. People close to the Cupertino company have notably confirmed certain characteristics of the new iPhones. The possible names of the latter have alsobeen mentioned. Finally, there was talk of Apple Watch and iPad. Good news for Apple Watches, the old bracelets would remaincompatiblewith the new Series 4 models. Bad news for the iPad,still notrefreshment of the mini 4 this year:
This information remains rumors and should not be taken literally. All the same, specialist Mark Gurman from Bloomberg is often well informed and has in the past shown a certainaccuracyin these forecasts.
He therefore affirms that the renewal of the iPad mini would indeed still not be in Apple's plans. This tablet, the last mini 4 iteration of which dates from 2015, is still on sale elsewhere. But it's starting to show its age, especially since the iPad released this year costs10 euros more in 128 GB. And it offers, for a few additional centimeters in case size, characteristics that are widelysuperiorat mini 4.
But the small tablet format has its fans and the absence of a new mini model should disappoint more than one.
On the Apple Watch side, it's more positive. There is talk of the compatibility of old bracelets with the new Apple Watch Series 4. These would notably have a screenbiggerapproximately 15% compared to the previous generation. Its autonomy would also bebest, in addition to a few other activity tracking improvements.
Still, those who like to change their style regularly will be able to enjoy their old collection of bracelets, even if they change their watch to the Series 4.
