New Apple ad with athletes, the iPhone, and the Apple Watch

While the Olympic Games closed on Sunday August 11 at the Stade de France, there are still a bunch of medals to be distributed. Indeed, if the main event is over, the Paralympic competitions must still take place. From Wednesday August 28 to Sunday September 8,the gold medalists of the previous edition will put their title back on the line, and their opponents will do everything to steal first place from them.

In this context, Apple has just published an advertising video on its YouTube channel. It is called “The Relay” and bears the slogan“designed for all bodies”.

The Apple Watch in the spotlight, but not only

As usual, when it comes to sport, the Apple company shows off its Apple Watch. The ad also shows the iPhone, and AirPods. More precisely,we see Paralympic athletes in their daily routine, which is accompanied by Apple devices. Here is the ad:

In the video description, Apple explains:

Apple products are designed for all bodies. Whether you're a sprinter, wheelchair runner, track cyclist, or swimmer, features like the Workout app on Apple Watch, sleep metrics, and daily exercise goals, plus the ability to record and analyze your performance on iPad and Mac, ensures all athletes have what they need to train and compete to the best of their abilities. And innovative accessibility features like Point and Speak on iPhone, for visually impaired users, or AssistiveTouch (which helps people with upper limb differences use Apple Watch with one hand) give athletes with disabilities the ability to excel equally.

Apple and accessibility

The Cupertino company is at the initiative ofnumerous accessibility measuresso that anyone can enjoy their devices. In iOS 18 for example, users who have motor difficulties, particularly those who have difficulty using their fingers, can control the iPhone with their eyes.
