According to S. Richard, the first half of 2019 should open a new window of negotiations for apossible merger between 2 major operators.

This race for new subscribers could therefore, according to the CEO, leave some players in the lurch, unless there is a merger between two. He adds, however, that he will not take any initiative. He will let other operators come to Orange if interested, but would rather rely on amerger between two of the three competitors, Bouygues Telecom, SFR and Free.
