Orange,just like
Apple, recently published its quarterly results. In mobile plan,
Orange and Sosh are doing well, with more subscribers and a low rate
termination, when on the 4G network, the historic operator remains at
top coverand is not far from soon reaching the
90% of French territory. Here are the details:
Sosh, the no-commitment mobile web subscription brand, has recorded
73,000 new customersover the last quarter July, August
and September. This brings the total number of subscribers to3,21
millions, with an increase of 271,000 over the last 12 months. THE
recruitment over the quarter is, however, less good than that of the year
last (+ 95,000 new customers), which may be due to competition from
increasingly aggressive on prices during one-off promotions.
Orange, for its part, recorded good recruitment of187 000
clientsover the quarter. The operator has reached25 millions
subscribersin total as of September 30, 2016. It also benefits from a
Fairly low termination rate, 12.6% of customers.
The group can also boast of its good 4G coverage, with84
% of French territory covered. This is 7 points better than in 2015,
and if the rate of progress does not slow down, we will approach 98% in
2017. View
