iPhone 6 orders: big rush but there's still a little...

It was yesterday that the
marketing of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus for a first wave of countries.
The online Apple Store which was supposed to start the ball rolling around 9 a.m. was delayed at
ignition while on the side of operators and online sellers, the
Orders started a little earlier.

But those who had prepared the identifiers and credit card codes
also had to face other pitfalls: depending on the sites,
not all machines were available for sale in all
capacities and colors. Worse, this was the case at Orange/Sosh
in particular, the servers suffered agrosse saturationmaking
the order often erratic. But it is not only in France that these concerns of
capacity and rush have delayed orders. In the US, at Sprint and T-Mobile,
the sites werestill congested two hours after opening
orders.

So successful launch?

As we felt, this launch with the arrival of two machines at the
enlarged screens were likely to actually break records. Apple has it
confirmed since, without yet sharing the figures, but indicating that the
level of pre-orders had reached a record for launches
d’iPhone.

Result ?Chez
Apple, the stock of machines available for delivery on the day of
release (Friday September 19) is now completely over and the
displayed availability is postponed for example for the iPhone 6 Plus to
"3 to 4 weeks" and for certain models from iPhone 6 to
"7 to 10 days".

At other resellers, at Fnac for example, we still find some
models available for September 19 while at Boulanger or Darty, we
also finds some (not even more it seems), but at Sosh, it's the break
complete

In the end, the start of pre-orders turned out to be rather chaotic
in the first hours, showed that despite demand, production had
been sufficiently intensive for the machines to be available rather in
quantity this year.

But the real question:did you get the model you were hoping for?
