excellent range of Hue connected bulbs
available here on Amazon, and this will soon be expanded with a
new bulb shape.
In fact, Philips has just announced the arrival next Aprilof the
ampoules candle E14elongated shape with a "small base", which
is “compatible with 80% of the sockets in a home” according to Philips.
It will be availablein white, but also with
several other versions withcolorful atmospheres. This
new bulb works the same as other bulbs in the
Philips Hue range.
Namely that it connects to the iPhone app through the Philips accessory
Hue Bridge which links the bulbs and the app. This allows to
personalize colorful ambiances, plan schedules, and
geolocated scenarios using HomeKit.
The new bulb requires a power of 40W and provides brightness
approximately 470 lumens. It will be availablein Aprilfor one
price of34,95 €.
