It's next September 7that we think we will discover the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Pro. The latter would be a duo, with a 6.7 inch model and another 6.1 inch. Their main novelty? Why is this design so strange?
In reality, this original training is not new. We had already seen it on the Motorola Moto G100 marketed last year. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro, for its part, also offers two sensors on the front but these are combined in a single “pill“.
The iPhone, for its part, displays two at the front. The weight of the largest would be due to Face ID technology, which requires the lensTrueDepthto function correctly. This is in addition to the FaceTime HD camera dedicated to selfies. But the lens that is responsible for scanning your face in three dimensions would still require too much space from Apple, which would then have chosen to rely on this “semicolon” format. Other brands, including Android, offer facial recognition without this drawback.
