- Final Cut Pro updates on iPad
- Bugs have been fixed
- Logic Pro also gets some improvements on Apple tablets
Final Cut Pro, Apple's video editing software available on Mac and iPad, has just receivedits first major update on tablet. We learn that the developers have prepared new shortcuts for users who use a keyboard, and that bugs have been corrected for greater stability. The platform is compatible with iPadOS 16.4 or later.
Among the features that Final Cut Pro offers oniPad, we also find the possibility of cropping content, adding effects to the image or even music for a professional rendering. Faced with this program, cinema specialists sometimes opt instead for DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro, where, still at Apple, iMovie is an alternative accessible to all.
Other apps updated at the same time
Always atApple, we noticed that other flagship apps have also received recent updates, including iMovie but also Compression, Motion or Logic Pro. The latter focuses on music production, and is very popular, particularly for house and its various derivatives.
To get Logic Pro, you now have to pay the tidy sum of 229.99 euros on Mac, with a free version available to everyone for a few days. Same advantage for Final Cut Pro
Editing on iPad: a good alternative?
The version of Final Cut Pro for iPad is very similar to the one that exists on Mac, but it seems that even today artists prefer to go through the original version at least for the bulk of the work. On stage, however, the touch edition can very well replace its desktop counterpart, and the addition of a keyboard therefore achieves much better productivity.
And you, what editing software do you use on a tablet?
