- New report predicts prices of the next iPhone 15
- The increase in prices would be significant compared to the iPhone 14
- But only for certain models
The new iPhone range, which should possibly take number 15, is arriving soon. Apple should present it at the beginning of September, if the usual schedule is applied. During the months of July and August, each year, the rumors about these new iPhone 15s become more and more numerous and above all, they come together more and more.
If recently, we learned more about thedesignof these iPhones, or even their capacity inphotography, a new report signed Tim Long, analyst at the British bank Barclays, clarifies the question of prices. In case you were expecting good news on this subject, you will be disappointed…
€110 increase for “Pro” only
The rumor of the day suggests the following price list, in dollars:
- iPhone 15 : 799 $ (idem iPhone 14)
- iPhone 15 Plus : 899 $ (idem iPhone 14 Plus)
- iPhone 15 Pro: $1,099 ($999 for the 14 Pro)
- iPhone 15 Pro Max: $1,199 (1,099 for 14 Pro Max)
In euros, and with taxes, we would obtain this:
- iPhone 15 : 1 019 € (idem iPhone 14)
- iPhone 15 Plus : 1 169 € (idem iPhone 14 Plus)
- iPhone 15 Pro: €1,439 (€1,329 for the 14 Pro)
- iPhone 15 Pro Max: €1,589 (€1,479 for the 14 Pro Max)
As you see, the source predictsidentical prices for the 15 and 15 Plus modelscompared to the generation before, andan increase of $100 (≈ €110) for the 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max modelscompared to the generation before.
So of course, this in itself would not be very good news. But the predictions here made by Tim Long are more positive for the portfolio than the previous ones we had heard so far. Dan Ives, another renowned analyst, predicted a more significant increase a few weeks ago, ranging from +110 € for the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus to +220 € for the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max.
We would obviously prefer to see Tim Long win the iPhone 15 price prediction competition. See you at the beginning of September to find out for sure.
