Yesterday Tuesday October 24, 2023,Apple revealedthe date of a new upcoming event. Precisely, on October 30 at 5 a.m. local time, the Californian firm will hold an Apple Event, certainly the last of the year 2023.
Note that with us, the conference will take place at1:00 a.m. on the morning of October 31. If we have already mentioned in our columns some products that we should discover at this time, let's take stock of the announcement program which seems most likely to us.
Keynote “Scary Fast”: the Mac above all?
No big secrets for this Keynote, several big clues indicate that the star will indeed be the Macintosh. On the one hand, historically, November events are mostly focused on Macs (and sometimes iPads). On the other hand, the imagery used by Apple for its upcoming Event suggests the representative face of the macOS Finder.

Furthermore, according to the latest rumors, includingthose of renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple would unveil two major new features for its computers during the Keynote:
- Apple silicon M3 :the new generation Apple silicon chip, M3, should appear
- MacBook Pro :the MacBook Pro would be the first machine to integrate the M3 chip or one of its Pro/Max variants
According to Mark Gurman, another renowned informant, we should expect the arrival of a newMacBook 14″and a newMacBook Pro 16″. Basically, they would come equipped with a chipM3 Pro, with the option of replacing it with oneM3 Max, like what can be done on current models and the generation of M2/M2 Pro/M2 Max chips.
And if not?
According to Mark Gurman once again, don't expect to see new Mac mini, Mac Studio and Mac Pro at the next Keynote. The same goes for the MacBook Air, which would arrive in the Apple silicon M3 version early next year.
On the other hand, there is an Apple computer which has been very discreet for several years, it isl’iMac. It is at this stage the only Apple PC not to have switched to Apple silicon M2 chips. We could therefore see the all-in-one return to the forefront at the end of this year, by unveiling its new features next Tuesday, including, precisely, aSoC M3.
