Glass protection for the iPhone screen: the ideal solution to prevent scratches?

Solutions to protect the precious
iPhone screen scratches are not very varied: the most
classics consisting of a fitted piece of plastic to stick on the screen
while the other possibility is to lock your iPhone in a case
protective again with transparent plastic on the front. It is
the case
of the Otterbox model that we tested here
, or fromla Lifeproof
seen recently again here
.

But in the case of cases, the tactile sensation is not ideal while
that we lose the specificity of “oleophobic” treated glass screens
know that they are less likely to mark with their finger than
plastic protections. But all is not lost and...the ultimate solution is
may have arrived with aglass protectionthe 0.4 mm
thickness:

The Spiegen company thus offers a glass plate with a thickness of 0.4
mm, which is placed on the iPhone screen. it is advertised as 3 times more
scratch resistant than plastic protections while in case of
broken, it will not fall into sharp pieces, remaining fractured on the screen
(like a windshield).

Finally, it has an oleophobic coating which will reduce traces of
greasy fingers on the screen.

Small video demo of the installation in particular:

This should in theory also solve the air bubble problem
imprisoned under the protections of plastic screens, but a first opinion
deposited on the manufacturer's website, although satisfied, indicates that the installation is
delicate.
