iPhone 17 Air vs S25 Slim? Samsung prepares its counterattack

This strategy shows Samsung's determination not to let Apple dominate the ultra-thin smartphone segment. The Korean manufacturer obviously wants to get ahead in this new race for finesse which is planned for 2025.

The race for finesse intensifies

Samsung accelerates development of its Galaxy S25 Slim as Apple encounters challengestechnical difficulties. The Apple firm is particularly struggling to design a device as thin as initially planned, in particular because of the constraints linked to the integration of its new in-house 5G modem.

The two giants will have to face the same challenges: maintaining good performance and decent autonomy in an ultra-thin format. The success of these devices will depend on their ability to find the right compromise between design and functionality. Users will discover the result of this technological battle from September 2025, the date scheduled forthe release of the iPhone 17.
