Reminders and calendar applications will soon communicate with each other

In a previous paper, you were shared with a rumor concerning the interoperability of the native applications of the iPhoneReminders and calendar in iOS 18. This is now confirmed by Apple:

The calendar becomes even more useful by displaying both the events and the recall tasks. Users can create, modify and finish reminders directly from the calendar, and the updated month presentation provides an overview of the events and tasks visible at a glance

Beyond Apple Intelligence, the apple firm still presented interesting new features for iOS 18. The interoperable integration ofReminders and calendarIn fact, what to allow all those who do not have a compatible iPhone, or not the means to acquire one, to take advantage of several new features. Apple Intelligence is, as a reminder, only compatible with iPhone 15 pro, pro max, and future iPhone.

Integration of reminders into the Calendar application

The next major iPhone upgrade enriches calendar and reminder applications, allowing you toManage your memos in the Calendar application. You can view them next to your calendar events, which will allow you to enjoy a more complete view of your schedule.If you create reminders in Calendar, they will also be visible in reminders.With this addition, Apple eliminates the need to juggle between two applications. 9TO5MAC reports in this regard:

Reminders with an assigned maturity date will appear on this date in the calendar. This is true for events that last all day, as well as for those with a specific hour assigned.

As you can imagine, the reminders with specific maturity hours will display these hours in the calendar and will be sorted appropriately next to your events. So, if you have a reminder at 6 p.m., it will be displayed just below an event scheduled at 7 p.m.

You can check and uncheck reminders directly from the calendar interface, and small circles also serve as a useful average to distinguish between reminders and events.
