VR & AR

Face ID

A patent filed in the United States explains how Apple hopes to make its biometric unlocking even more efficient by also embedding it on possible virtual reality headsets. Object Tracking

Another paper details an ingenious optical system that could detect objects in front of aeyewearto then track them. This could make them function like a game controller, with various items such as a shoe, a racket or a shuttlecock.

Audio

A speaker built into your smart mount? Bose is already there, but will now have to facethe alternative proposed by Apple.

Augmented reality

To be as close as possible to your real environment with an AR headset, the glass of which can possibly distort its content, Apple considers that using mirrors which reflect it directly in your retina is a good idea.Details.

Reverse recharge

As already seen earlier, MacBooks and iPads could act as wireless charging stations for Apple mobile devices (Watch and iPhone in particular). An ingenious way to exploit the empty space surrounding the touchpad on the sides.

Removable screen

It's not always practical to show what's displayed on your laptop screen to a friend if they're sitting across from you. And if the slabcould just rotate?
