Apple: the relocation of production to the US is underway

Although at first glance it may seem
anecdotally, the 9to5 Mac site has just got its hands on a real
Apple policy change.

In fact, the Cupertino company recently updated its page of
suppliers. In the long list in which we find for example
Foxconn or Pegatron, one of the suppliers catches the eye.

Thus, a factory in Fremont, California is indicated as supplier

The fact that Apple wishes to relocate the production of some of its
products is not new. However, between words and actions there is
a margin.
Like us, the US consumer is very sensitive to the fact that a product
is manufactured close to home, but Apple also finds its account in terms of
transport and production costs.

Obviously, for the moment this is only one supplier among many
others, but it indicates a real turning point in the policy of
Apple manufacturing and that is not trivial.
