Apple results (3rd quarter): revenues still on the rise

This is a record for the end of the year: Apple has garnered$64.7 billionthis summer. A number increasing by 700 million compared to the score of 2019 over the same period. Among the reasons for success, we can probably citethe second generation iPhone SE. Indeed, with a price below 500 euros, the smartphone has become the most affordable in its range. Moreover, it is indeed the sectormobilewhich remains the most prolific at Apple, accounting for 41% of its turnover compared to 62% previously.

Moreover, with 14.55 billion dollars in revenue, this sector has just broken a new record for all periods combined. As for the rest of the products, whether Macs, iPods or even accessories such as the Watch, it would have brought in $7.88 billion for Apple. And for investors?

During his usual conference dedicated to shareholders, Tim Cook therefore slammed the coronavirus crisis. This only seems to continue to mainly affect companies that have not taken the digital plunge, giving free rein to the electronics giants to conquer the crowds. Moreover, it is once again theinternationalwhich brought in the most for Apple during this last quarter. Thus, 59% of its revenues come from countries other than the United States, particularly Europe.

THEMac, for their part, would have generated 14% of Apple's turnover: again, this is a record. And it must be said that the different models announced in 2020 probably have something to do with it, starting withthe new 13-inch MacBook Pro and its Magic Keyboard. Add to this an iMac which is also improved and other editions which continue to sell very well, and that's it.
