Every three months, it's the same thing:
because Apple is a publicly traded company, it must publish its results
quarterly reports which allow you to take stock of your financial health
and sales of different products. Result :Apple is getting by
Alright.
Here are Apple's latest quarterly results relating to the
period from July to the end of September:
The apple company announced that it had achieved a turnover of
$51.5 billionand made profits of up to
$11.1 billion. Compared to last year
same period, Apple had achieved a turnover of 42.1 billion
dollars and 8.5 billion in profit.
It is therefore aclear increase in results for Apple,
which also surprise analysts. This exceptional turnover
is largely due torecord iPhone salesand Mac
who continue to progress from year to year.
The iPhone always higher
In the last quarter, Apple sold48 millions
d’iPhone, a nice increase compared to39,2 millions
units sold last year at the same period. The opening to
Chinese market, this year, has certainly improved iPhone sales. Of
Plus, Tim Cook revealed that30
% of new iPhone buyers are former Android users, and
figure never reached before.
iPad not in the best shape
The iPad continues its slow decline, with9.8 million iPads sold
compared to 12.3 million last year at the same period. Apple is not
worried because iPad sales are being cannibalized by iPhone 6 sales
Plus and 6s Plus, moreover, the Californian company hopes,in a certain
measure, that the next iPad Pro will be able to reverse the trend.
The Mac
While global computer sales are declining, the
Mac maintains and even progresses slightly. So, Apple
announces having sold5.7 million Macs(5,5 millions l’an
last), partly thanks to the launch of the new 12-inch MacBook.
The “Other” category: Apple Watch, Apple TV, iPods, etc.
Finally, there is Apple's final "Other" category which encompasses the Apple
Watch, Apple TV, Beats products, iPod and accessories. This
category generated a turnover of3.04 billion
dollars, a small increase compared to the 2.6 billion of the
previous quarter. The new Apple TV should help boost this
turnover for the next quarter.
And as was the case for theprevious results,
Apple preferred not to reveal precise sales figures for the Apple Watch.
According to Tim Cookthis could help the competition, but it
specifies, however, that sales of smart watches are increasing every
quarter a little more.

Even if it is still not available in France, the payment system
sans contact d’Apple,Apple Pay, continues to progress
the international. Thus, Australia and Canada should be able to
benefit by the end of the year. Then it will be Spain's turn,
