Almost 2 years ago, Apple unveiled
the iPhone SE, a small format and more affordable model using the design of the
very popular iPhone 5 & 5s. This iPhone quite quickly encountered a
certain success with users preferring a 4-inch screen.
The iPhone SE could well have a successor, if sources are to be believed
from the Indian tech sitetekz24, according to which Apple
would work on a second generation of this modelwith a back
glass, which should in particular allow therecharge
wireless.
For the moment, the only models to integrate wireless charging are
the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X, which had to switch to a glass back
instead of aluminum which is not compatible with wireless charging and
which equips iPhone 7 and older models.
At the same time, the adoption of a glass back would allow the evolution of the
design of the iPhone SE and give it a more modern appearance in line with its
time and other recent iPhone models.
This new rumor follows a report from the Chinese newspaper
Economic Daily Newslast November, according to which Apple
reportedly plans to launch a second-generation iPhone SE during thefirst quarter of
2018.
According to tekz24, this new iPhone SE would integrate the same A10 processor as
that of the iPhone 7, 2 GB of RAM, 32 and 128 GB of storage capacity, a
slightly more powerful battery with a capacity of 1700 mAh, a sensor
12 megapixel rear photo and another 5 megapixel front.
However, this information should be taken with a grain of salt, because this site
Indian is little known in the Apple world and therefore unreliable. However, the
first iPhones manufactured in India are SE models, so the site in question
there may be sources close to the production lines.
