Jon Prosser is very talkative at the moment, it's obviously the period which obliges him with many products which have been and which should still be unveiled at the end of the year by Apple.
Recently,he announced the release date of the iPad Air 4, i.e. Friday October 23 with pre-orders starting tomorrow October 16. But he also provided information on products that we thought we would see last Tuesday during the iPhone 12 Keynote (see the full summary here).
The AirPods Studio: the AirPower disaster to avoid
Concerning the AirPods Studio headphones first of all. The latter, according to the source, would encounter some problems during assembly. So it would not happenbefore December. Apple should obviously do everything to release it before the end of year holidays, a crucial period for the Californian firm as for its competitors. And precisely, according to Jon Prosser, the Cupertino giant has already removed some features from the headset, those which would pose the most difficulties.
First:
Major hiccup in AirPods Studio production ?
A few key features have now been cut.
Seems they still need to work some things out before we have final units.
Looking like they won’t be ready to ship until December AT BEST.pic.twitter.com/oRRTXJQVhH

An announcement of the headset in November could still be possible, either as part of a Keynote, which would also unveil new Macs with Apple Silicon chip and the AirTags sensor, or by written press release.
Still, the informant remains very cautious about the availability date of the helmet and even sees an exit window extendinguntil March 2021.
AirTags: with iOS 14.3
For the AirTags object sensor, Jon Prosser says it should be released at the same time as iOS 14.3. However, update 14.3 of Apple's mobile operating system should normally arrive next month.
Second:
With AirPods Studio now being pushed back, it now looks like Apple is going to launch AirTags after all.
Currently, they’re on schedule to be released with iOS 14.3 (iOS 14.3 will contain features enabled for AirTags) and iOS 14.3 is supposed to be next month..

Currently, iOS is nearing the release of version 14.1 for the general public. Update 14.2 is in its third beta. We can imagine a release of iOS 14.1 again this week or next week, a release of iOS 14.2 at the end of the month or the beginning of November and finally a release of iOS 14.3towards the end of November.
At that time, then, we should know more about this famous AirTags object sensor, either via a new Keynote or via press release.
