The iPhone 17 Pro marks a turning point in terms of design and performance

You've only just discovered the iPhone 16, and rumors about its successor are making waves. The iPhone 17, and in particular the Pro version of the future Apple phone, has been arousing curiosity for several months already. Analyst Jeff Pu has just published a research note which sheds interesting light on the future of the Pro range. His predictions confirm some rumors and reveal new ones. Let's see together what could await you with the future iPhone 17 Pro.

RAM at the heart of the discussions

Jeff Pu claims both versions of the iPhone 17 Pro will ship12 Go to RAM. This prediction runs counter tocelle de Ming-Chi Kuo, which announced this increase only for the Pro Max. Majin Bu, for his part, had mentioned12 GB for all fouriPhone 17 models.

This increase in RAM would benefit Apple Intelligence performance and multitasking. You could therefore juggle between your applications without slowing down. Jeff Pu also confirms the improvement of the photo sensors.

A leap forward for your photos

Imagine yourself with an iPhone capable of capturing even finer details. According to Jeff Pu, the iPhone 17 Pro could well grant this wish. THEtelephoto lens would go from 12 to 48 megapixels, while the front camera would increase to 24 megapixels. Your portraits and selfies will never have been so sharp.

A Dynamic Island that works out

The next iPhone 17 Pro Max could also sport aDynamic Island plus petit. This slimming treatment would be made possible thanks to a new “metalens” for Face ID. This would be the first major overhaul of this element since its appearance in the iPhone 14 Pro.

For the rest, no upheaval on the horizon. The screen sizes would remain unchanged: 6.3 inches for the Pro and 6.9 inches for the Pro Max. The A19 Pro chip would take over the 3nm manufacturing process from the current A18 Pro.
