Shot on iPhone 12: a French woman highlighted in this Apple selection

The Apple Newsroom has just published a new article which aims to demonstrate to what extent the iPhone 12 can do wonders. According to the Cupertino company, the configuration of the iPhone 12 cameras coupled with the A14 Bionic allows it to produce fabulous photo rendering. According to Apple, photographers around the world are using iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max to capture images of cityscapes, rural landscapes, portraits, and more situations.

Fabulous results

Apple is particularly seeking to show the performance of Night and Deep Fusion modes which, thanks to AI, can intelligently adjust the white balance, contrast, texture and saturation of a photo to provide a remarkably natural rendering. Among this selection of photos, we also find the use of different zoom options. This year, a French woman is in the spotlight in this selection. This is Hélène Hadjiyianni, you can find many more of her photos on her Instagram account.

The Cupertino company has been organizing this competition since 2015. If Apple allows new photographers to be highlighted, the company has long been criticized for not paying photographers and profiting from their work. Since 2019, Apple has rewarded the winners of this competition by providing them with licensing fees.
