Since iOS 11, Apple has addedan iOS screen recording feature, which can be practical for explaining to someone how to use certain features of their smartphone, without being physically close.
Skypeis testing a new feature that takes advantage of iOS screen recording. This will allow users toshare their screen during a callwith a contact, which can be practical in several situations.
According to Microsoft, this new feature coming to users will allow them several things. For example, sharing a PowerPoint presentation with colleagues, viewing profiles on a dating app with friends, or even shopping online with a loved one.
Currently this function is being tested for participants in the Skype beta test program. Microsoft has not indicated a launch date for this screen sharing feature.
Recently, Skype increased the number of participants in group calls from 25 to 50. Which is better than the equivalent FaceTime function, which is limited to 32 people (which is already a lot).
Do you plan to use this next feature with Skype?
