With a reduced price of3.99 euros per monthin France, the new Snapchat+ subscription gives access to exclusive features in several countries such as India (where the price is approximately 0.62 euros), the United States or Canada. According to a latest report from the platform, a million users have already subscribed to it, without knowing precisely which regions are the most profitable.
Among the options included in Snapchat+ is the ability to pin a conversation like on Telegram so that you can access it more easily in the future. With this, the app also allows you to track the location of your friends over the last twenty-four hours and knowhow many times your stories have been rewatched(but without knowing by whom).
Snapchat+ is also the“friends solar systems”which tell you who is closest to you on the service, a tool to customize the app icon on your iPhone, a web version as well as a badge to add next to your nickname to indicate that you are a customer premium.
Family Center
Already seen in a leak several months earlier, the Family Center is another new feature from Snapchat, this time accessible to everyone at no additional cost. Here the idea is to offer “additional protections for adolescents” with for example the impossibility of communicating with a young person without being friends with them. Furthermore, theminorswill also not be able to have a public profile and parents will be able to report suspicious behavior more easily.
These benefits are being rolled out little by little depending on your region and should soon be joined by additional options so that children can notify their parents themselves if they have concerns. To find out more, Snapchat has detailed all of these changes in a very comprehensive blog post written in French,to read at this address.
Something new from the competition
Apple has also made efforts in terms of communication,by allowing you to delete or edit text messages sent with Messages. We can also mention the case ofWhatsAppandInstagram, which now offer the sending of ephemeral content.
