The magnificent adventure game Forgotton Anne brought to iPhone and iPad (Updated)

In this new iOS title, the player plays an Executioner named Anne who has the ability to control the life force calledAnima. She finds herself in the kingdom of the Forgotten Lands, where many objects from the human world arrive. More particularly, this kingdom is the place of welcome for everything that has been forgotten or lost by men.

But these objects have a soul, the Anima precisely, underlying the desire to return where they came from. And this is also the mission of the heroine of the game: to join the humans. The player therefore discovers, alongside the young woman, worlds filled with poetry and surprises. You have to cross dozens of tables in a horizontal progression, with a number of platform puzzles to solve.

Anne can run, jump and even fly, but also use her special strength to, for example, locate certain objects, unlock certain levers or turn gears remotely, etc. Everything takes place in the form of a classic point-and-click game. But rarely on iPhone or iPad has a game been so striking in terms of its design, its graphics and more generally its atmosphere. Forgotton Anne isMagnificent.

The title does not seem to revolutionize the genre. But, as we see from the first moments in the game, and as indicated by the feedback from the console and PC versions, it enjoys a very high level of achievement. The scenario is deep, the staging careful, the dialogues also worked. And then the graphics are once again really beautiful. Furthermore, the music was not left behind with a score played by the Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra, no less.

Forgotton Anne certainly has the potential to provide a unique experience on iPhone and iPad.

The game is fully subtitled in French. It is free, but includes an in-app purchase of 10.99 euros allowing you to unlock the whole adventure. You can therefore test the game without paying to see if you like it or not. But quite frankly, there is a good chance that Forgotton Anne will draw you into her world from the first moment!
