MacBook Pro 16″: screen brightness bug detected in some users

Since the launch of theiPhoneIn 2007, a year rarely goes by without one of the many products sold by Apple experiencing a bug reported by multiple users. From bendgate tospeaker problems, it is in fact common that even numerous beta tests are not enough to guarantee the 100% reliability of a new product when it is placed on the market.

This is also what is happening to the MacBook Pro with a 16-inch panel, just revealed last month. This would be the victim of a software error concerning the screen, making thebrightness lower than expected.

Description et solution

Discovered by buyers this week, the problem mainly appears when waking up the computer and can be annoying if you, for example, need to use it in direct sunlight. In this case, it is then necessary toedit manuallyscreen lighting to obtain the desired setting.

However, if redundancy appears, even when you have configured theMacTo make the opacity automatically change depending on the light in your environment, then you can:

  • try to get to aApple Storefor an employee of the company to help you or offer you a replacement device during the repair
  • wait until the bug is resolved by Apple (generally, the firm is very responsive when its community reports one)
  • create automationwaiting for a future update

However, it is not yet known when the Cupertino developers will offer a fix. But rest assured, the problem seems to be only software, a macOS update should be able to correct the situation.
