Thatgamecompany is an American development studio known for various iOS games, includingSky: Children of the Lightor elseFlower. But their most emblematic title is Journey, released in 2012 on PlayStation 3 and in 2019 on PC. The latter was notably acclaimed by critics and players for its dazzling graphics, its touching poetry and its extremely gripping and captivating adventure.
And it was with surprise that we learned this morning of the arrival of Journey on iPhone and iPad. The game is now indeed available on the iOS App Store.
Concerning the principle of this welcome new feature on mobile, it involves making a character progress in a vast desert world, sometimes snowy, sometimes silted.

However, travel is not done in a conventional way. Our hero can perform a sort of flight, almost like an aerial dance, supported by a red veil to flutter in the air. This ability allows him to access high platforms, which broadens the field of possibilities in terms of paths to discover.
In addition, during the adventure, it is possible to come across other human players, who can be used to recharge our special movement capacity, among other things.

The mobile version of Journey has a suitable control interface. Movements are done with one hand, while the other controls the camera.
The title is not translated into French, but this does not hinder the understanding of the scenario, given that it is mainly pictorial, and ultimately shallow. Journey is above all a visual and musical experience.
It can be aimed at all ages and is also free of in-app purchases.
